We organized the following Health Education Trainings, involved the 300 community people of Jargalant sum, Khovd province.
We organized a Learn to Wash Hands Properly Training, we taught them brief lessons about washing hands, hand hygiene data, the importance of washing hands, infectious disease prevention, how to wash hands properly and stages of effective hand washing.
We organized a Proper Oral Hygiene Training, we taught them about oral hygiene, oral care, and the importance of brushing teeth, prevention of teeth decay, how to brush and clean teeth effectively and the stages of proper tooth brushing. This training was particularly important because previous research indicated that most families had little or no knowledge of proper dental hygiene, and in turn were unable to teach their children how to take care of their teeth.
We organized a Proper Nutrition Training, we taught them about nutrition and healthy diets, responsible consumption of the 3 whites, vegetable and fruit consumption and other healthy foods. During the training time teachers were given some advice on how to buy healthy food from the markets and shops, as well as how to prepare healthy meals. After this training the participants visited ‘’Nomin’’ supermarket and practiced purchasing healthier foods.  The participants were taught how to read the nutrients labels on foods, what amounts of said ingredients constituted healthy levels.  Furthermore, participants where taught the importance of asking for the expiration dates of the foods that they purchase.  Lastly, the trainers made the decision that the most effective way to improve nutritional health would be through focusing their awareness raising efforts on the women of Khovd, who are generally responsible for providing meals for their families.
We organized an Importance of Exercise Training, we taught them the importance of regular exercise, children exercise, adult exercise and exercise for the disabled. We talked about success stories of people who had changed their lives through regular exercise. Also we organized a ‘Walking Trip’ & ’Climbing Trip’ involved 138 community people.
We organized an Anti-Smoking Training, we taught them about data corresponding to tobacco use, the new tobacco laws and their impacts, the harmful effects of tobacco, the harmful effects of second-hand smoke and the most effective methods for quitting. During and end of the training, group leaders discussed how to raise awareness among children and adults.  In order to do so, the groups are currently planning trainings to be given at both the local university and secondary schools.
We organized a Refusing Alcohol Training, we taught them about data corresponding to alcohol consumption, the Alcohol law and its impact, the harmful effects of alcohol consumption, how to treat drinkers and effective methods for quitting. This training was considered particularly important because data shows that alcohol abuse is becoming the main cause of domestic violence in Mongolia. At the end of the training we talked about how to decrease alcohol consumption as well as how to combat domestic violence.
We organized a Stress Reduction & Mental Health Training, we taught them about the state of mental health in Mongolia and Khovd, common cause of stress, types of stress, signs of stress, methods for reducing stress and preventative measures one can take to minimize the impact of stress.  This training was particularly important given the lack of psychiatric care specialists and centers in Mongolia, leading to an increase in violent crimes due to mental instability.  Ultimately, the goal of this activity was to help participants develop effective methods for managing stress, and for them to disseminate this information throughout the community.
We organized a Traffic Rules & Regulations Training, we taught them about traffic laws and their impact, data corresponding to traffic accidents, child and pedestrian safety, advice for drivers and road accident – first aid. At the end of the training teachers taught participants about how to help others in road accident situations.  Group leaders practiced these methods, giving them the skills they need to help their families and others who may be in need of assistance.  The groups are currently working on implementing trainings for drivers on the dangers of drunk and irresponsible driving practices.
We organized a Prevention of Domestic Injuries Training, we taught them about domestic injuries, the state of domestic injuries in Mongolia, domestic injury prevention tips, about burning, freezing, poisoning, overpowering fumes, sunstroke, and electrocution. Group leaders made practice various first aid methods, giving them the skills they need to help their families or anyone else suffering from a domestic injury.  These types of injuries are extremely common in Mongolia, while simultaneously knowledge of first aid methods and preventative measures in largely lacking.  For these reasons, this training was considered rather important.
We organized a Family Planning Training, we taught them about the state of family planning in Mongolia, youth awareness about family planning, family planning – reproductive health, the most common causes of family separation, about domestic violence and how to decrease divorce and separation rates. At the end of the training, group leaders discussed how to raise awareness among the youth and young families. This training was based on data suggesting that most families in Mongolia do not plan pregnancies, leading to many families being incapable of supporting themselves healthily.  Ultimately, the goal of this training was to help families plan their futures.
At the end of the training, we gave some advice for the group’s leaders about volunteerism and methods for teaching fellow community members. Also, during the group discussion time they talked about how to organize awareness raising activities amongst community members.  They concluded that they wished to focus their energy on raising awareness amongst children and youth, specifically those in secondary schools, college and universities.
Involved adults and children in Health and Safety Inspections, we organized this event which involved 321 people and 512 children. About 68.2 % of all children had some sort of problem with some being severe and others less so, which really surprised the doctors. The doctors organized a meeting with the parents and exchanged their opinions about their children’s health condition.

We organized some awareness raising activities among community people and the following educational brochures and newspapers were distributed. Also organized a Question and Answer “AXA” quizzes competition among the adults and children.
